40 years!

We are incredibly proud to offer a warm, caring, and welcoming living environment to young people having dealt with Youth Protection Services, to women who flee the violence of an abusive partner, and senior women who have been evicted from their homes to asylum seekers looking for a brighter future…

This year, on its 40th anniversary, L'Auberge Madeleine is launching a unique fundraising campaign and is looking for your renewed generosity.

Here are the various donation levels we invite you to consider:

  • Solidarity Donation: $500 - A significant gesture
  • Committed Donation: $500-$1000 - A substantial help
  • Major Donation: $1000 and more - An exceptional contribution

A $500 donation provides 3 meals and a snack per day for one woman for 6 weeks, which is the entire duration of her stay.

A $700 donation covers the monthly transportation budget for all the women with no income who have to travel to the city’s four corners to find employment.

A $1000 donation corresponds to the monthly cost of supplies for the activities and art workshops offered to women.

Regardless of the amount, your donation directly contributes to concretizing our essential mission.

Speeking of l'Auberge Madeleine

Personalities who support the campaign

"

"I wholeheartedly support the Auberge Madeleine, because no woman should have the street as her bed." – Ariane Moffatt, singer-songwriter

"Too often I come across women who are homeless. I offer them a furtive smile, but I can't hold their gaze for long. Not because I pity them, but because I am ashamed of us." – Stéphane Rousseau, actor and humorist

"Women are the first victims of the housing crisis. The Auberge Madeleine has been helping them for 40 years. Let’s help them help themselves." – Judith Lussier, journalist and president of the board

"Dignity, comfort or a simple feeling of security - it is not a luxury, we should all be entitled to it. And yet this is not the case, and it is happening here. Together we can change things." – Virginie Fortin, actress and comedian

"Bad luck, a setback in life, a disastrous encounter: we can all find ourselves, at some point, in a precarious situation. Let's be united. They are our sisters." – Sophie Fouron, animator

Thank you to everyone who made a major donation of $1000 or more, an exceptional contribution!
